Studies for a doctoral degree

Supervising doctorate students, master students and students of law as a subsidiary subject requires time and good counselling – on both sides. At the beginning there should be an informative written application (which, if you please, should not be sent by email) accompanied by further documents. The final decision is usually made after a personal interview.

Apart from your exact address, telephone number and email address the application should contain at least:

  • a covering letter stating which further qualification you wish to acquire at my Chair
  • why you wish to do so
  • the topic or the subject area in which you wish to be supervised
  • a Curriculum Vitae listed in tabular form and
  • copies of relevant credentials and credits.
